## LIE: Adam Hamilton used his position at the church to buy four homes.

**TRUTH:** This claim is wholly inaccurate - Adam and his wife borrowed against their retirement to help his adult daughters find their homes. They are in their thirties with full time jobs but still could not afford a home in Kansas. The average age to buy a home now is [40](https://www.realtor.com/news/trends/first-time-homebuyer-median-age-2025/), in part because of decisions made in Washington that have raised prices and costs on everything for everyone. When Adam was growing up he could afford a home for him and his wife on his Pastor’s salary. Now he’s being attacked for helping his family have their own homes by the same people who created this housing crisis in the first place.

Roger Marshall, meanwhile, [sold](https://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article292974104.html) his home in Kansas days after being sworn into the Senate and claims to live now at a small property in the state. He kept his $1.5 million Sarasota, Florida oceanside house and has [spent](https://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article292974104.html) nearly $20,000 of your tax dollars on almost a dozen trips to the area. His office has repeatedly [refused](https://www.politico.com/newsletters/playbook/2024/09/20/inside-the-mind-of-harris-messaging-maven-00180187) to explain what government business required him to go to Florida so often.
